Brandon Overton was one of 38 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the Tennessee’s Action Track 50. Gaining three spots in his heat, Overton posted a second place finish behind Donald McIntosh, which positioned him seventh on the starting grid for the opening night feature. After running in a podium spot the entire race, Brandon was taken out by lapped-car on lap 49 that ended his night immediately. He was credited with a 20th place outing. (Heath Lawson photo)
On Saturday afternoon at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for the EZ-Go 50, Brandon edged his way into the $12,000-to-win finale with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Dropping two spots in the 50-lap affair, Overton logged an 18th place outing.
