Overton podiums in Cotton Pickin' at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Brandon Overton joined a stout field of 45 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, MS) on Friday night for the annual Cotton Pickin’ weekend.
With prelims on Friday setting the stage for Saturday’s feature, Overton laid down the second-fastest time in his group before placing first in his heat.
Lined up third for Saturday night’s $20,000-to-win Cotton Pickin’ finale, Brandon rolled to a consistent third-place finish in the 60-lap affair. He joined race-winner Ethan Dotson and Ashton Winger on the podium.
